Room 4 & 5 visited Whangarei Museum to look at what life used to be
like in the last 100 years. We looked at an old school where we dressed
up, baked scones, visited the museum and Clarke Homestead and went for a
train ride. We all had an exciting day and enjoyed looking at the way
life used to be.
We had to mix the flour and butter together and get all the lumps out.

I liked sitting in the fire engine. It was big and bright red.

We dressed up in old dresses and hats and sat in the old classroom.

We had a big ride on the train and sat at the back behind the engine.
